This year’s theme, ‘Standing on Ceremony’, will explore those rituals, initiations, anniversaries and carnivals that bind us together, that celebrate our true gift as humans; social existence. 2012 is not the end of it all – it is merely a rallying call to unite. 

 

And so, there has never been a better time to travel to the garden with your fellow gardener...

Out of everything we do at the party, travel has by far the biggest environmental impact. Travelling by coach will help us to reduce our carbon footprint and minimise disruption to our neighbours. To say thank you to those who tread lightly on the garden path, everyone arriving on shuttle buses, coaches, bikes or in full cars will be given a ‘Green Gardener Card’.  Treats for Green Gardeners will include the chance to enter a prize draw for tickets to 2013’s party, discounts on merchandise and a great big thank you from the head gardeners.
