  • All prices are subject to variation. Festival coaches guarantees to offer the cheapest price possible at all times.

Once confirmation has been received if the event is in 30 days or more the company, Festival Coaches, reserves the right to pass on increases in the cost of fuel, taxes imposed by the Government of the UK. Should the passenger wish to cancel the booking refund terms are set out below.

  • All payments must be made online at the time of purchase no other form of payment for the booking of tickets is available.

Refunds

If you, the customer, needs to cancel your booking, terms are:

10 day or more prior to departure date full refund

6 days to 48 hours prior to departure date 50% refund

47 hours or less prior to departure date no refund

Transfer of tickets and change of passenger name

Should you, the passenger, wish to transfer the ticket to another person, you, the passenger should email festival coaches with both the original and new passenger name and details of the festival you are travelling to. NB Should you, the passenger, wish to transfer your ticket into another name in the 24 hours preceeding departure the company, Festival Coaches, cannot guarantee that the transfer will be possible.

If you, the passenger, do not present the credit card that the coach was booked with and the valid booking reference the company, Festival Coaches, cannot guarantee entry to the coach, this would be subject to driver discretion at the time of boarding. If entry is refused no refund will be available.

Cancellation by the company, Festival Coaches

In the event that Festival Coaches has to cancel by reason of emergency – riot – civil unrest – strike – lock out – stoppage or restraint of labour or in the event of any circumstance over which the company, Festival Coaches, has no control – extreme weather conditions – extreme road conditions, or, in the event that the vehicle is unavailable the company, Festival Coaches, will return all money paid and, without further or other liability, cancel the contract with the passenger.

All services require a minimum booking of 40 passengers per service, should the service fail to attract the required number the said service will be withdrawn at a reasonable time prior to the event and customers will be informed and all monies paid will be refunded.

Late bookings and additional passengers

The company will endeavour to provide transport for all persons wishing to use their services but there is no guarantee that seating will be available once the festival booking is closed for business.

Breakdown and delays

The company gives its advice on journey times in good faith. However, as a result of unforeseen events that occur beyond reasonable control of the company, Festival Coaches, journeys make take longer than the predicted times and in those circumstances the company, Festival Coaches, will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience experienced by the passenger(s) as a result.

Please note you must check your email address prior to leaving for the coach as sometimes services are liable to last minute amendments and we do not always have contact telephone numbers for you. 

Our on call number is:  07840 28 33 75 - please take this number with you on the day.  We hold no liability should you miss your service due to changes to service.

Liability of goods and passengers

The company will not accept any liability for any damage incurred by passengers, other than that which is covered by insurance.

The company will not accept any liability for any damage or loss to passenger goods, all passengers are expected to ensure that their goods are independently insured and that every action has been taken keep personal items secure, both on board and in the luggage hold.

The company, Festival Coaches, will take all reasonable steps to avoid loss and/or damage to passengers goods.

Articles that are lost will be held at the company’s premises where the vehicle is based, and will be subject to the current Public Service Vehicle (lost property) regulations.

Passenger conduct

It must be noted by all passengers that the driver is solely responsible for the safety of the vehicle at all times and if sees fit may remove any passenger whose behaviour is seen by the driver to prejudicial to the safety, or is in breach of Public Service Vehicle (conduct of drivers, inspectors, conductors and passengers) Regulations 1990.

Complaints

In the event of a passenger wishing to complain, for any reason, the company, Festival Coaches will seek to remedy the complaint at the time. If resolution is not found the passenger should submit their complaint in writing within 14 days of travel, Festival Coaches normally respond within 30 days.

Abuse of vehicle

Passengers are respectfully requested to act with respect to the vehicle and other passengers whilst on board the coach, this includes any defacement to vehicle of any kind. The driver will be within his rights to remove the passenger(s) from the vehicle.

Consumption of alcohol

The driver has full discretion over the consumption of alcohol on board the vehicle and permission should be sought by the passenger from the driver. Any passenger consuming alcohol on board the vehicle against the drivers wishes may be asked to disembark.

Conveyance of animals

No animal, other than those recognised as working dogs, such as guide dogs, hearing dogs and dogs for epileptics, may be carried on any vehicle without prior written agreement from the company.
